Education can open our eyes to see the world in a way we haven’t before. That’s what prompted a North Texas woman to shift her focus from a CPA business to a faith-based nonprofit that helps women rebuild their lives. NBC 5’s Noelle Walker has the story.
Construction workers are preparing the site in Wylie where the future Jericho Village will sit. The groundbreaking was a month ago, but the vision for the development has been six years in the making.

“I really never thought this day would come,” Rev. Janet Collinsworth said, looking at the work site. “I never even considered having, or building, or developing affordable housing, but I’m honored to be able to do this because it’s a huge, huge need in our community.”
